Susie’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

So pleased with these cookies and I think you will be too! I used Mexican Vanilla which can give your cookies a nice twist. I would suggest also using mini chocolate chips for this cookie you will get more chocolate yumminess while eating the cookie.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cream together the butter, white and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  4. Add vanilla (I like using Mexican Vanilla).
  5. Dissolve baking soda and salt in hot water and add to batter
  6. stir in flour, chocolate chips (nuts are optional)
  7. roll into 1 1/2 inch balls, place on lined cookie sheet and slightly press down.
  8. Bake for 11 - 13 minutes in the preheated oven until edges are light brown and center of cookie is set.
